Exoplanet: First Contact Alpha build #6

Update #6 for Exoplanet’s Alpha version is released and this is not an April Fool’s joke!

Remember: each vote on Greenlight , each YouTube channel subscriber and  like on Facebook helps us a lot!

Changelog:

  • The formula for calculation of lighting on normal and specular maps was changed. Now they have better looking shadows and highlights.

  • The first version of ingame inventory added this build. Now you can drag and drop items from the inventory to the hotbar and select them using 1-9 keys. You can also move the interface window if you want.

  • Textures for buildings, M37 shotgun knife updated (seems cleared, details added, specular maps updated to work better with the new formula)

  • Control functions of the editor and script system parts required for the implementation of the interface re-factored.

  • Fixed a bug when the client could crash by standart exiting the game.

    There is also some cool stuff related to the characters which we didn’t manage to finish for this update but we will definitely include it into the upcpming ones.

 

You can play the latest build of the game and see all this changes in the actual version if you preorder Exoplanet: First Contact.
